Trusting God and Believing in Yourself: How He Turns Broken Pieces into Something Beautiful
Maybe you’ve looked at your life, your past, your struggles, and thought, “How could God possibly use me? How could He make something beautiful out of all these broken pieces?”
If God had told me 10 years ago that today I’d have a successful virtual assistant business, serving clients on demand and living a life of purpose, I would have laughed—just like Sarah did in the Bible. Back then, I was still recovering from my past, barely believing that anything good could come from it. But you know what? God is in the business of restoration. He specializes in turning brokenness into something beautiful.
God Sees Your Heart
Maybe you’ve heard things in your life that made you feel unworthy, or maybe someone told you that you aren’t good enough. I want you to hear me clearly: That is not what God says about you. He sees your heart, and no matter what others may have said, God knows your worth. And at the right time, He will lift you up.
Deuteronomy 28:13 says:
"And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them."
This verse is a beautiful promise from God that when we walk in obedience, He will exalt us. He will make us the head and not the tail, and we will prosper in everything we do. The beginning of wealth, true success, and fulfillment comes from walking in obedience to God’s Word.
I had moments when I doubted whether God could really use me. I had been told things that made me question my value, but God reminded me that He doesn’t see what the world sees. He sees our potential. He sees the gifts He’s placed within us, and in His timing, He raises us up for His glory.
Maybe you're in a season where things feel broken or uncertain, and you're wondering if you’ll ever be more than “the tail”—always behind, never ahead. Sister, let me tell you: God is preparing you for greatness. He’s working behind the scenes, and He’s about to turn everything around for your good.
You are worthy of the dreams God has placed in your heart. You are worth the success He is calling you to. And it doesn’t matter what others have said because God has the final word.
He doesn’t just call the qualified—He qualifies the called. And if He’s calling you to something, whether it’s starting a business or stepping into a new season of life, don’t doubt it for a second. God sees your heart, and He will lift you up when the time is right.
Ten years ago, I couldn’t have imagined where I am today. I was still picking up the pieces of my past, trying to believe that God had something good in store for me. But little by little, as I trusted Him, He made all things new.
God takes the shattered parts of our lives and creates something far more incredible than we could ever dream. That’s what He did for me, and I believe He will do the same for you.
If you’re ready to step into what God has for you, I want to encourage you to start by believing in yourself and in the God who is writing your story. You don’t have to have it all figured out—just take that first step. Trust Him. Believe that you are worthy of the incredible things He has planned for your life.
Sister, you are loved, forgiven, and worthy. Don’t let fear or doubt hold you back. Trust that God is working all things for your good, and take that first step toward the incredible future He has in store for you.
With love,
